MAY isyu na naman kay Baron Geisler at inilabas ito ni Direk Arlyn dela Cruz sa Facebook. Hindi idinetalye ng lady director ang buong pangyayari na may kinalaman sa working habit ng aktor at sa foul na ginawa nito kay Ping Medina.
Mahaba ang post ni Direk Arlyn, binanggit niyang pinayuhan na siya ng mga kaibigan na, “Do not ever work with Baron” pero itinuloy pa rin niya ang pag-cast dito sa pelikulang Bubog. Nangako naman daw kasi ito na, “Direk, I will work sober.”
For humanitarian consideration, itinuloy binigyan niya ng trabaho si Baron dahil nagtapat ito na kailangan nito ng pera para sa hospital bills ng inang may sakit. Naging persistent din si Baron sa pagpa-follow-up ng script, inalam ang role, at ang schedule ng shooting.

Nang mag-report sa shooting, masaya pa nitong sinabi kay Direk Arlyn ang, “Direk, I am sober for five days na!”
Ikinatuwa ito ni Direk Arlyn at sinabihan pa niya si Baron na ituloy na ang pagiging sober. Natuwa rin si Direk Arlyn sa sinabi ni Baron na gusto nitong magbukas ng negosyo and “live a different Baron.”
“My fault is in believing. What you did on the set, for the film Bubog is unacceptable and cannot be justified by any claim of being in character because I repeatedly explained to you and was clearly written on the script where your character is coming from and how I wanted it to be tackled, stressing that the idea is, power is felt, not expressed.
To show true might, in subdued silence and suppressed emotions. Ping Medina does not deserve what you did. No actor deserves that. No person deserves that.
“You claim, you respect him and me? ...Define to me respect after what you did.
“You wanted four days of shoot. No more 2nd, 3rd or 4th day with you. I have killed your character and the story and script will stand without you.
“You told your girlfriend Nina that you have never felt a happy set. You found a happy set... we all gave you a chance. Now you lost one happy group to be with.
“You told Ping you are ready to face the consequences of your action. Be ready to face it. Because you cannot get away with everything that you do, all the time.
“To my fellow filmmakers, you may think you need Baron in your movies... but you don’t... you really don’t.”

Nag-post na si Baron ng sagot sa post ni Direk Arlyn, naririto:
“Good afternoon po direk. Sorry. Pero you and I both know na malaking misunderstanding po ang lahat. I asked you three times na direk may gagawin po ako then you just said gawin mo na lang sa eksena. Kung tinanong n’yo po ako kung ano yun di sana naiwasan ang mga bagay na ito. You are our captain sa set. You can check the bts for proof kung bastos ako towards anyone. Wala po.
“May proof. But you were trying to pull off a Brillante Mendoza, bulong ka sa artista na sampalin mo para magulat or maganda reaction. I was slapped many times. So I thought... ahhh... so it’s ok pala to surprise my co-actor sa set.
So low po of you to discredit my name. You are better that that po. Mahal kita.”
