Iginiit ng Employees Compensation Commission (ECC) na may karapatan ang mga guwardiya sa mga benepisyo at serbisyo sa ilalim ng Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP) sa mga tinamong sakit, pinsala, kapansanan, o pagkamatay dahil sa trabaho, alinsunod sa Department Order No. 150-16 na inilabas ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

“The ECP acts as a safety net for the security guards and other workers should they be afflicted with a work-related disease or become a victim or a work-related accident,” paliwanag ni ECC Executive Director Stella Banawis.

Maaaring maghain ang mga sekyu ng EC claims sa SSS o pumunta sa mga tanggapan ng Department of Labor and Enmployment. - Mina Navarro
