Pinaigting ng pulisya ang seguridad sa paligid ng House of Representatives habang nagpapatuloy ang canvassing of votes para sa presidential at vice presidential candidates.
Sinabi ni Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Chief Supt. Edgardo Tinio na bukod sa uniformed personnel na itinalaga para sa security, ipinakalat din ang mga nakasibilyang tauhan para sa intelligence operations sa lugar.
Ayon kay Tinio, nasa 24-hour alert ang QCPD para maiwasan ang panganib ng anumang posibleng banta.
“QCPD personnel will firmly stand their ground until the canvassing and the proclamation of the elected President and Vice-President is over,” aniya. (PNA)
