NAGULAT ang maraming fans sa pagpapaalam ni Kris Aquino sa kanila at sa management ng ABS-CBN for a healthier lifestyle. Nag-post si Kris ng art cards sa kanyang social media accounts na naglalaman ng kanyang statements.

“Just like all of you, I love my FAMILY. My most valuable life destiny is to be a Mama to KUYA JOSH and BIMBY; and to be a loving, selfless sister to ATE, PINKY, NOY and VIEL: a bunso who doesn’t give them constant worry because of my health and safety.

“I met with Potato Corner President Joe Magsaysay, Friday, March 4. We are partners in expansion and opening our 2nd PC+NachoBimby in SM North Edsa this May 2016. We are expanding, three more storefronts in Mall Cinema Areas in Q3 of 2016… I own the Chowking franchise in AliMall, co-own Mang Inasal in Anonas, and my goal to own a Jollibee in my home province of Tarlac seems meant to be this 2016. I need to continue being a WORKING MOM since I’m the SOLE PROVIDER for my sons, but for now I’ll do it away from the stress of the limelight.”
Nagsimulang indahin ni Kris ang pagbabago sa kanyang kalusugan pagkatapos niyang gawin ang pelikulang Etiquette For Mistresses noong August 2015 alongside two daily shows, KrisTV at Aquino and Abunda Tonight.
Muntik na nga raw niyang hindi matapos ang MMFF entry na All You Need Is Pag-ibig dahil nagkaroon na siya ng mild stroke habang nagtatrabaho.
Kamakailan lang ay nag-post si Kris sa Instagram na taas-baba pa rin ang kanyang hypertension sa kabila ng iniinom niyang maintenance medicine. Nagdesisyon na siyang tumigil sa ma-stress na pagtatrabaho sa limelight bago pa man lumubha ang karamdaman niya.
