“The WBA is open to a proposal but haven’t received any request from Floyd Mayweather or his team,” ani Mendoza na naniniwalang papayag din si WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman sa panukalang ito. “Mayweather vs Pacquiao could be the best event that has ever happened to boxing.”

“The important thing is that the fight has been made and boxing will be in the eyes of the world for the following three months,” sinabi naman ni Sulaiman. “The details have not been addressed yet regarding the titles.”
