Ni ELLAINE DOROTHY S. CAL

MULA sa mahabang listahan ng mga nominado, muling kinilala ang natatanging talento ng Entertainment Editor ng Balita na si Dindo M. Balares (DMB) na pinarangalan bilang Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Panulat ngayong ika-13 Gawad Tanglaw.

Matatandaang tatlong taong sunud-sunod na natanggap ni DMB ang parangal bilang Best Entertainment Columnist (Filipino) simula noong 2012 hanggang 2014. Bukod sa pagiging entertainment editor/columnist, si DMB ay isang ring author na nagsimulang magsulat ng literary pieces sa Liwayway magazine.

Samantala, ipinagkaloob naman kay Atty. Romulo Makalintal ng DZMM ang Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Radyo. Gayundin sina Tirso Cruz III para sa Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Telebisyon at si Chito Roño para sa Natatanging Gawad Tanglaw sa Sining ng Pelikula.

Pareho namang tatanggap ng parangal bilang Best Actress si Nora Aunor para sa Dementia at si Angelica Panganiban para sa That Thing Called Tadhana.

Ang Gawad Tanglaw ay binubuo ng mga guro na pawang doktorado at may masteral degree mula sa iba’t ibang paaralan sa Metro Manila at mga karatig-probinsiya.
