INILABAS na ang official list of finalist ng Entertainment Press Society (Enpress, Inc.) para sa 11th Golden Screen Awards (GSA) na gaganapin sa Teatrino sa Greenhills sa October 4, Saturday.

Mula sa mahigit 100 films na ipinalabas noong nakaraang taon, GSA came up with a short list of 40 films na ni-review ng voting members sa loob ng mahigit dalawang buwan.

Napagkasunduan din ng Enpress voting members sa isang resolusyong inihain ng chairman na limitahan ang listahan ng mga nomina do to five per category or even less.

4.5-magnitude na lindol, yumanig sa Surigao del Norte

Ang debut film ni Hannah Espiana Transit ay nominado sa 12 kategorya, kasama na ang Best Motion PictureDrama at Best Director para kay Hannah. Matatandaan na naging kinatawan ng Pili pin as ang Transit sa Best Foreign Language Film category sa 2014 Oscar Awards.

Ang mga pelikulang Ana Ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap at On the Job ay nakakuha naman ng tig-ll nomination, including Best Picture-Drama at Best Director for Jose Javier Reyes and Erik Matti, respectively.

Sonata, the comeback film of Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes as a tandem, garnered 10 nominations, kasama ang Best Actress kay Cherie Gil para sa kanyang pagganap as diva coping the loss of her voice and who found solace in the company of a young boy.

Ang first Cinemalaya film ni Vilma Santos na Ekstra ay nominado sa 7 kategorya, kasama ang Best Actress at Best Direction para kay Jeffrey J eturian.

Samantala, gustong pasalamatan ng Enpress at Golden Screen Awards si Papa Ahwel Paz for allowing the use of Dong Juan (located at 72 Mother Ignacia, Quezon City) bilang venue ng nominations, deliberations at final voting last Sunday, September 14.
