Kinondena ni Lanao del Sur 1st district Representative Ziaur–Rahman “Zia” Alonto Adiong ang pambobomba sa loob ng Mindanao State University (MSU) nitong Disyembre 3, 2023.
Ayon sa ulat, bandang 7:00 ng umaga nang mangyari ang nasabing insidente sa Dimaporo Gymnasium ng MSU habang nagmimisa ang mga estudyante at iba pang faculty members.
Tatlo ang naitalang nasawi sa nangyaring pagsabog habang 50 naman ang sugatan.
“My heart lies in pieces upon hearing that there was a vicious and unprovoked attack on innocent citizens attending a Sunday service at the Mindanao State University main campus this morning. As of this time there has been a loss of four innocent lives and ten others wounded. I extend my support and whatever assistance my office may provide to the victims and their families, as well as to the entire community affected by this heinous act,” pahayag ni Adiong.

Kaya nag-deploy siya ng mga tao na tutulong sa mga naging biktima at sa pamilya ng mga ito sa Amai Pakpak Medical Center.
“They will assist in processing all assistance concerns within the capability of my office,” aniya.
Nanawagan din si Adiong na tumindig bilang isang komunidad upang makapagbigay ng ginhawa at lakas sa bawat isa.
“During these dark moments, it is essential for us to unite in solidarity, demonstrating that love and compassion can overcome hatred. Let us stand together as a community, providing solace and strength to one another as we mourn the senseless loss of life.”
Sa huli, ipinahayag ni Adiong ang kaniyang matinding pagkondena sa mga nasa likod ng nasabing insidente sapagkat wala umanong puwang ang mga ito sa Marawi, o Lanao, o maging sa buong Pilipinas.
“We implore upon the national government to leave no stone unturned until the perpetrators of this vile act are brought to justice. It is the bare minimum that we must do to ensure that the right to life of our citizens are protected. Let this be a statement of our government’s enduring commitment to human rights and a lasting peace,” saad pa niya.
