Isang miyembro ng New People's Army (NPA) ang sumuko sa pulisya sa Quezon kamakailan.
Sa pahayag ni Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr., sumurender sa Regional Mobile Force Battalion, 405th Maneuver Company headquarters ng pulisya sa General Nakar, Quezon si "Ka SK/Rosgen" na kasapi ng Communist Terrorist Group (CTG)-Platun 1, Sentro De Grabidad (SDG), Guerilla Front Narciso, Southern Region Military Area 4A (SRMA 4A), nitong Disyembre 1.
Sa police report, si "Ka SK/Rosgen" ay dating nag-o-operate sa Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna at Northern Quezon.
Isinuko rin ng rebelde ang isang Smith and Wesson Cal. 38 revolver, mga bala at subersibong dokumento.

Tiniyak din ng opisyal na makakakuha ng financial assistance ang nabanggit na rebelde sa ilalim ng Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) ng gobyerno tungo sa pagbabagong-buhay nito.
“We must continue our efforts in implementing the Executive Order No. 70 or the NTF-ELCAC (National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict) to save many lives especially those who were victimized by the false ideology which was imparted to the innocent minds of the fellow Filipino people," sabi pa ng opisyal.
