Hindi na umano haharangin ng Chinese Coast Guard ang isasagawang resupply mission ng pamahalaan sa mga sundalo nito nakatalaga sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal sa parte ng West Philippine Sea (WPS).
Ito ang tiniyak ni Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana nitong Linggo at sinabing matutuloy na ang pagpapadala ng supply sa lugar ngayong linggo.
Ang pahayag ni Lorenzana ay kumukumpirma sa naunang pahayag niWestern Command chief Vice Admiral Ramil Roberto Enriquez na matutuloy na ang nabanggit na misyon batay sa kautusan ng hepe ng DND.
"Yes, there (are) such instructions," pahayag ni Lorenzana sa mga mamamahayag.

Wala rin aniyang escort na barko ng Navy, Coast Guard o saBureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) ang mga sasakyang pandagat ng bansa na magtutungo sa Ayungin Shoal para resupply mission.
"No Coast guard or Navy escort. The Chinese will not interferepermy conversation with the Chinese Ambassador,. We will see if they are true to their words as our Navy will proceed with the resupply this week,” aniya.
Nakikipag-usap na aniya ito kayChinese Ambassador Huang Xilian mula pa nitong gabi ng Nobyembre 16 nang maganap ang insidente hanggang Nobyembre 20 kaugnay ng usapin.
"They are the one’s violating our sovereign rights within our EEZ. Our EEZ (200 NM from the Philippine mainland) was granted to the Philippines (by) the 1982 UNCLOS which, by the way, was ratified by China. Therefore, they have no right to impede, prevent or harass our ships within our EEZ whether we are fishing or bringing supplies to our detachment in the Sierra Madre in Ayungin shoal," pahayag pa ni Lorenzana.
Matatandaang hindi natuloy ang supply mission ng Pilipinas sa lugar nang harangin at bombahin ng tubig ng Chinese Coast Guard ang dalawang sasakyang pandagat nito.
