Itutuloy pa rin ng pamahalaan ang naudlot na resupply mission nito sa mga sundalo ng bansa sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).
Tiniyak ni National Security Adviser (NSA) Hermogenes Esperon, Jr. na wala nang makapipigil pa sa tropa ng gobyerno na magsasagawa ng resupply mission sa mga sundalong naka-angkla sa Ayungin Shoal sa WPS sakay ng Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas (BRP) Sierra Madre.
"We will continue the resupply and we do not have to ask the permission of anybody because that is within our territory.National Security Adviser (NSA) Hermogenes Esperon Jr. said they will continue the resupply mission to Filipino troops stationed at the BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Nauna nang naiulat ng Western Command ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na "hinarang at binombahan ng tubig" ng tatlong Chinese Coast Guard ang dalawang supply boat o bangka ngPilipinas nitong Nobyembre 16.
Walang naiulat na nasaktan, gayunman, umatras sa kanilang misyon ang mga ito matapos masira ang katig ng isa samga bangka na nasira ang katig sa insidente.
