DAVAO CITY— Binisita ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte ang mga nakaligtas sa C-130 aircraft mishap sa Camp Navarro General Hospital sa Zamboanga City nitong Huwebes, Hulyo 15.

Nasa Zamboanga si Duterte para pirmahan ang sisterhood agreement sa lokal na pamahalaan upang mapalakas ang pakikipagsosyo sa pagitan ng Lungsod ng Davao at Lungsod ng Zamboanga sa turismo at kultura, agrikultura, at kalakal at komersyo.

Sa isang pahayag, ayon kay Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) Chief Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr.: “We are very much elated with the overwhelming support the armed forces, most especially the victims of the tragic incident, receive from the different sectors and agencies, and the generous people of this country.”

Nagbigay ng tulong si Mayor Duterte, kasama niya sina Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, House Speaker Lord Jay Allan Velasco, at Davao Occidental Governor Claude Bautista. Naroon rin sina Joint Task Force Sulu Commander Maj. Gen. William Gonzales at Joint Task Force Zamboanga Commander Col. Randolph Rojas.

Noong Miyerkules, Hulyo 14, ang mga military personnel ay binista rin ng mga taga baryong nagligtas sa kanila sa crash site sa Patikul, Sulu noong Hulyo 4.

Ayon sa Westmincom, “the soldiers expressed their gratitude to all the people who helped them ease the physical and emotional trauma they incurred during the crash-landing of the Hercules C-130 aircraft.”
