Pinahihintulutan na ng Quezon City Government ang mga outdoor activities para sa mga batang may edad lima pataas sa Quezon City Memorial Circle at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife.
Matatandaang pinayagan na ng IATF na lumabas ang mga bata sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng General Community Quarantine(GCQ) at Modified GCQ (MGCQ).
Sa isang memorandum, sinabi ni Mayor Joy Belmonte, ang ilang mga city-owned parks na pinamamahalaan ng Quezon City Parks Development and Administration Department (PDAD) at ang mga parke sa loob ng residential subdivisions ay kinikilala bilang “Child-Friendly Safe Zones.”
Maaari rin magtalaga ang Quezon City Business Permits Licensing Department (BPLD) ng mga safe zones, kasama ang outdoor activity areas, swimming pools, tourist sites, al fresco dining o iba pang open-air areas sa mga mall o iba pang establisyimento.
“After months of being confined inside their houses, we saw the need to give minors a chance to go out and get some fresh air in outdoor areas that are deemed safe,”ayon kay Mayor Belmonte.
Kailangan samahan ang mga menor ng fully vaccinated na guardian, at kailangan dalhin ang vaccination card at valid ID.
Mayroon ng 19 safe zones ang kinilala ng city government. Magtatalaga naman ng Zone Administrator para sa pagmonitorng health protocols at paggamit ng contact tracing system.
“The Zone Administrator is also encouraged to implement an hourly scheduling system or the like, to ensure compliance with capacity limits. The Zone Administrator should employ marshals to patrol the zone and remind visitors of health protocols whenever necessary,” ayon kay Belmonte.
