KABILANG ang six-time University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Women’s Basketball titlist National University Lady Bulldogs sa mga bayaning atleta na magbibigay inspirasyon sa kabataan sa pamamagitan ng MILO Home Court Campaign.
“Our commitment to nurture kids through sports never stops,” pahayag ni Lester P. Castillo, Assistant Vice President, Nestlé Philippines – MILO.
“To keep our children engaged and inspired to play and be active, we have tapped the NU Lady Bulldogs to join the MILO Home Court campaign. The rare combination of heart and skill that these ladies have shown on and off the court make them the perfect role models for kids and aspiring athletes. We are delighted to have the NU Lady Bulldogs be part of the MILO family.”
Sa nakalipas na isang dekada, dominante ang NU Lady Bulldogs tangan ang makasaysayang 96th -sunod na panalo – pinakamahabang winning streak sa kasaysanang ng collegiate basketball sa bansa. Kabilang sa 2019 SEA Games basketball champion ng Team Phiulippines ang premyadong star ng NU Lady Bulldogs.
“We are happy to be part of a campaign where we can utilize our abilities to motivate young girls and boys to pick up a basketball and pursue their dreams,” pahayag ni NU center player and SEA Games gold medalist Jack Animam.
Kasama ni Animan ang temamates na sina Monique Del Carmen at Camille Clarin sa isinasagawang MILO Challenge sa social media network na Tiktok. Sa gabitong paraan, natuturuan nila ang mga kabataan sa pagensayo ng mga basic drills sa basketball.
“Through this program, we hope to teach kids to be determined and creative, which are essential attributes that make a true champion,” sambit ni Clarin.
