MIYEMBRO si Kapuso actress Carla Abellana ng PAWS Philippines na nangangalaga ng mga hayop. Kaya naman matapos ang pagsabog ng Taal Volcano, hindi siya nag-atubiling tumulong na magpakain ng iba’t ibang hayop na inabutan ng pagsabog ng Taal Volcano at naiwan na lamang ng mga may-ari sa kanila.

Pumunta si Carla sa mga bayan ng Talisay at Lipa sa Batangas. Sa Talisay nakapagligtas sila ng mga pusa at aso. Sa Lipa, mga kabayo naman ang sinagip nila roon.

Sa kanyang Instagram wall, post ni Carla: “It feels so good to be able to see that these horses are safe, far away from volcano island and slowly recovering. There are a total of 48 so far at the temporary shelter in Lipa, Batangas. The worst burn cases were brought here and it was so painful seeing the burns all over their faces and bodies. They’re having a hard time breathing as well. They have a long way to go after all the trauma, but they will get there eventually. I am extremely glad to meet them personally. There’s nothing more rewarding than getting to feed them, talk to them and touch them to let them feel that it’s gonna be alright. I hope and pray more animals will be evacuated from Batangas. Because we don’t want to lose any more precious lives should Taal Volcano fully erupt.”

Nakita saposted videos na nagpapakain ng mga kabayo si Carla at mga kasama niya sa PAWS.

Samantala, malapit na rin mapanood muli si Carla sa bago niyang drama series na Love of My Life kasama sina Rhian Ramos, Mikael Daez, Tom Rodriguez at si Ms. Coney Reyes, next month sa GMA primetime telebabad.
