IPINAHAYAG ni Philippine SEA Games Organizing Commitee (PHISGOC) chairman Alan Peter Cayetano na nasa tamang landas ang paghahanda ng bansa sa 30th Southeast Asian Games.

“I am very happy and proud to announce that preparations are going well, despite any delay or challenges. Ang nadelay lang ang national budget, but we are still ahead of time for the preparations,” pahayag ni Cayetano sa isang press briefing na naganap kahapon sa SM Aura sa Taguig city.

Siniguro ni Cayetano na isang magandang SEA Games hosting ang inihahanda ng bansa para ipakita sa mundo ang galing ng Pilipino.

“We want to show Asia and Southeast Asia that the Philippines can do good. We want to show na hindi lang Metro Manila ang Pilipinas,” pahayag ni Cayetano.

Akari Sports wala pang balak pasukin ang PBA

Nais umano ni Cayetano na gamitin ang nasabing event para sa turismo ng bansa at makilala bilang isang magaling na host.

“We want everyone who will come over na sabihin na “ang galing maghost ng Pilipinas”. We want to use this hosting to push the country pagdating sa turismo,” ayon pa kay Cayetano.

“Everyone is working very hard for it. The PSC, POC, who are the essential members of the PHISGOC Board are working togeteher. We want the best for our athletes, SEA Games, Para Games, let’s give our best. I commit myself to you that I will do my best. Just let me know if may pagkukulang.,” ayon pa sa dating DFA Secretary.
