IDINAAN ni Lea Salonga sa Twitter ang announcement na kanselado sa original schedule ang shows niya sa Hongkong at Singapore dahil sa skiing accident na nangyari sa kanya habang nasa bakasyon sila sa Japan ng kanyang pamilya.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must cancel my upcoming tour dates in Hongkong and Singapore. As many of you know, during a recent ski trip in Japan I took a fall and broke my leg. While we initially hoped to be able to keep the appearances on the calendar, the injury is going to take longer than expected to heal and my doctors have given me strict instructions not to travel for the next several weeks. Disappointing fans is the last thing I would ever want to do, but I must take this time to get back into top shape. We’re working on rescheduling these shows and I can’t wait to see you all very soon! We’ll be sure to post updates here and on LeaSalonga.com.”
Naka-schedule sa February 8 and 9 and shows ni Lea sa Hongkong at sa Feb. 13 and 14 naman naka-schedule ang dalawa pang shows sa Singapore. Kasunod na nito ang UK Tour niya.

Samantala, may nagtanong kay Lea kung tuloy siya sa concert nila ni Josh Groban naka-schedule sa Feb. 26 sa MOA billed Bridges Tour, ngunit hindi pa niya ito sinasagot. Pero dahil dito lang sa Pilipinas ang concert, baka payagan siya ng kanyang mga doktor na mag-perform.
