"We pray for and commiserate with the families of the victims just as we commit to help in the immediate resolution of the case," pahayag ni AFP Spokesman Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo.

"The AFP will provide any assistance it can towards the identification, prosecution, and punishment of the perpetrators of this dastardly act," dagdag niya.

Ayon kay Arevalo, ipinadala ni AFP Chief of Staff General Carlito Galvez, Jr. si Commander of 3rd Infantry Division, Major General Dinoh Dolina upang alamin ang pangangailangan ng pamilya ng mga biktima.

"Maj. Gen. Dolina is working closely with the police, local government, and other agencies of national government to ensure that by a thorough and exhaustive investigation, justice will be served," ani Arevalo.

"The AFP has also sent a sizeable amount as financial assistance to the next of kin to somehow alleviate the suffering of the bereaved families," dagdag niya.

“We'll not wait for the results of the PNP (Philippine National Police) investigation," sambit ni Guevarra.

"If we think that the circumstances require our immediate participation, we shall conduct our own investigation," aniya pa.
