NAKAHANDA na si Engr. Vergel Recaido na idepensa ang tangan na titulo sa pagsargo ng 7th annual J&P 10 Ball Cup Championships sa Oktubre 19, 2018 sa Superbowl Makati Cinema Square sa Makati City.
“Im very happy to be in the upcoming 7th annual J&P 10 Ball Cup Championships. Kahit mabigat ang iskedyul, makalalaro tayo para maidepensa ang korona,” pahayag ni Recaido, pangulo ng Copper Electronics Expertise, Inc.
Ginapi niya si Tristan Aguas, 7-4, sa finals sa last year’s edition na magkatuwang na inorganisa nina long-time billiards patron sportsman/businessman Aristeo “Putch” Puyat at DMC Entertainment and Production management boss Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr.

“J&P is basically an executive type of amateur pool tournament and acknowledge as the most popular pool amateur tournament in the country,” sambit ni Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr., bagong halal na director ng Billiards Sports Confederation of the Philippines (BSCP) na pinamumunuan ni Aristeo “Putch” Puyat.
Galing si Recaido sa ikatlong puwestong pagtatapos sa CueSpot Lounge 8 ball tournament nitong Setyembre 9.
Ilan sa mga inaasahan ng magbibigay ng magandang laban ay sina Architect Eric Salud, Dr. Christian Mancao, Broadcaster Sam Nielsen Sarmiento, Banker Mel Austria, Businessman Michael Cua and Esteban Robles, Artist Popoy Cusi at Blogger Leslie “Anitokid” Mapugay.
Kalahok din sina expat players Tim Gosnell, Jean Michel Berille at Jason Pye.
Ang 10-ball event ay bukas sa lahat ng executive amateur players sa bansa kung saan nakalaan sa magkakampeon ang P40,000 at trophy, habang maibubulsa naman ng second placer ang P20,000 at makokopo naman ng third placer ang P10,000.
Ang rest of the Top 16 ay tatangap ng tig P5,000 sa fourth hanggang 8th place, at P1,000 para sa 9th hanggang 16th placers.
Inimbitahan ng organizers sina pool maestro Efren “Bata” Reyes, Johann Chua at Carlo Biado para magsagawa ng opening ceremonies.
