Nais ni Senator Leila de Lima na mabigyan ng dagdag-benepisyo ang mga public health worker na nasugatan o namatay habang tumutupad sa kanilang trabaho.
Sa kanyang Senate Bill (SB) No. 1793 na layuning amyendahan ang RA 7305, o Magna Carta for Public Health Workers, sinabi ni De Lima na dapat lang na mabigyan ng umento ang mga ito.
“With the myriad challenges faced by our health workers and the expanse of hardwork and sacrifice that they give, it is therefore imperative that reforms and regulations be made and adopted by amending and expanding R.A. No. 7305,” saad sa panukala ng senadora.
