Magiging patas ang pagdinig sa impeachment complaint laban kay Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Ito ang sinabi ni Rep. Reynaldo Umali (2nd District, Oriental Mindoro), chairman ng House Committee on Justice, nang pasalamatan si Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Arturo Brion sa komento nito kaugnay sa pagdinig na isinasagawa ng panel.
“With all humility and sincerity, I thank Justice Brion for his encouraging comments on the way we in the House Committee on Justice are conducting the hearing in the determination of probable cause on the impeachment complaint filed against Chief Justice Sereno,” ani Umali.
“Tinitiyak namin sa mamamayang Pilipino at kay Justice Brion na magiging patas at objective kami sa lahat upang malaman ang katotohanan sa ginagawa naming mga pagdinig,” dugtong niya. - Bert De Guzman
