Kapana-panabik ang duwelo ng CEU at Diliman bunsod ng katotohanan na ang tanging kabiguan ng Scorpions sa 14-game elimination at nagmula sa Blue Dragons -- 59-56 sa first round.
“We know what they (Blue Dragons) are capable of doing so we cannot afford to put our guards down,” pahayag ni CEU coach Yong Garcia.
Sa pangunguna naman ni Benin native Soulemane Chabi Yo, liyamado ang CdSl Griffins sa Sea Lions na nadomina nila sa elimination round, ngunit ayaw pasisiguro ni CdSL coach Boni Garcia.
“Every time you play against Olivarez, you’re going to have a difficult time since they are enjoying a homecourt advantage. For sure, their supporters will go all out so we must have to do our part not to let them get involved,” sambit ni Garcia.
