DISMAYADO si Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach sa mga unang araw ng pagsasanay niya kay WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao kaya binawi niya ang prediksiyon na mapatutulog ng Pinoy boxer si No. 2 contender Jeff Horn sa kanilang duwelo sa Hulyo 2 sa Brisbane, Australia.

Kapag nagpatuloy ang masamang kondisyon ni Pacquiao, naniniwala ang mga boxing analyst na lilikha ng malaking upset si Horn lalo’t sa harap ng 55,000 boxing fans, mayorya ay Australian, magsasagupa ang dalawang boksingero.

“We are far behind. Those five rounds of sparring were the worst I have seen him spar,” sabi ni Roach. “Overall, the second day of sparring was not great I didn’t expect him to be good. But I think he’s getting there.”

Nakipag-spar si Pacquiao kina lightweight journeyman Leonardo Doronio at junior welterweight Sonny Katiandagho na kapwa naging agresibo laban sa nag-iisang eight-division world titlist sa kasaysayan ng boksing.
