IPINAPALABAS sa limited theaters ang uncensored version ng horror thriller naSeklusyon simula nitong nakaraang Sabado. Director’s cut ito, rated R-16 ng MTRCB. 

Entry sa nakaraang Metro Manila Film Festival ang Seklusyon ni Direk Erik Matti pero hindi pinayagang maipakita ang mga sensuwal na eksena dahil kita ang ilang sensitibong parte ng katawan ng ilang artisia sa lovemaking scenes. 

Ang bumubuo ng cast sa Seklusyon ay sinaRonnie Alonte, Dominique Roque, Johnvic de Guzman, JR Versales, Neil Ryan Sese, Lou Veloso, Elora Espano, Jerry O’Hara.

Ang unedited version o ang sinasabing director’s cut ng Seklusyon ay napapanood sa international release nang buong-buo. Ang original version na ito ang umaani ng rave reviews sa iba’t ibang Hollywood publications tulad ng The Hollywood Reporter at Varietypagkatapos ng world premiere nito sa International Film Festival and Awards Macau (IFFAM2016).

Tinawag ang film na, “a grainy, gory parable about the triumph of evil” ng The Hollywood Reporter. “Seklusyon drips with a ferocity about how false messiahs manipulate meek minds who, as the film’s finale suggests, then propel even more malicious pretenders onto the pedestals of power. The film is Matti’s call for an awakening, and it certainly stirs with spine-tingling moments aplenty.”

Ayon naman kay Maggie Lee ng Variety, “The film is veteran Filipino genre director Erik Matti’s skillful reworking of the Omen conceit, in the elegant, nostalgic style reminiscent of Spanish horror films like The Devil’s Backbone.”

Ayon kay Erik Matti, mapapanood sa uncut version ng Seklusyon ang detalyadong relasyon nina Anghela Sta. Ana, ang misteryosong bata na may miraculous healing powers na nagpanalo ng MMFF Special Jury Prize para kay Rhed Bustamante at ni Madre Cecilia na ginagampanan naman ni Phoebe Walker, ang nanalong Best Supporting Actress.

Mas naging detalyado rin sa director’s cut ng pelikula ang backstory ni Madre Cecilia at ang kanyang epekto sa deacon na si Fabian (Dominic Roque).

Humakot ng walong awards ang Seklusyon sa MMFF kasama ang Best Screenplay (Anton Santamaria), Best Cinematography (Neil Bion), Best Sound Design (Lamberto Casas, Jr. at Albert Michael Idioma), Best Production Design (Ericson Navarro) at Best Original Theme Song (Dominus Miserere ni Francis de Veyra).
