INIULAT na papatawan ng parusa ng Korea Communications Standard Commission (KCSC) ang programang SNL Korea dahil sa same-sex kiss nina Zico at Park Kyung ng Block B.

Naging panauhin ang Block B sa nasabing programa para sa episode ng Marso 26 at dahil sa kahilingan ng isa nilang tagahanga, naghalikan ang dalawang miyembro. Nakatanggap ng reklamo ang KCSC mula sa publiko.

Matatandaang noong nakaraang taon, bumuo ang KCSC ng isang committee upang imbestigahan ang cable channel JTBC na nag-ere ng eksena na naghahalikan ang dalawang babae sa Seonam Girls High School Investigators.

Hindi pa rin katanggap-tanggap ang homosexuality sa South Korea.

Ipinahayag ni Kim Kwangjin, miyembro ng Korea’s National Assembly, na ang pagsuporta niya sa LGBT community sa Korea ang dahilan kung bakit siya natalo sa primary election nitong nakaraang buwan.

“Plutocracy and vested interests were among the reasons, but the biggest one was my support of the LGBT community in Korea,” suspetsa ni Kwangjin na nailathala sa Huffington Post Korea.

“I was never a famous human right activist or a crusader. I was also not the kind of politician who supported the LGBT movement. Nevertheless, I tried my best to speak for the things that I believed in, such as the right not to be discriminated against,” aniya.

Nang magsimula ang eleksiyon, sinabi ni Kim, sa video na may titulong “Kwangjin Kim, the number one candidate who encourages homosexuality” ipakalat.

“I suggest that we put an end to this period of hatred and discrimination. We should talk about how to make our country a place free of discrimination,” suhuwestiyon ni Kim. “We should talk about how to make our country a place free of discrimination.” (Jonathan M. Hicap)
