Miss Germany Corp. releases statement on Miss PH bashing-Balita

Isang araw matapos ang nagmamaasim na pahayag ni Miss Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek na ikinagalit ng mga manonood sa buong mundo laban sa pagkapanalo ni Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, naglabas ng pahayag ang Miss Germany Corporation -- ang grupong namamahala sa Miss Germany contest simula 1900s.

Binati rin ng Miss Germany si Wurtzbach sa kanyang pagkapanalo at binigyang diin na ang mga komento ni Riek ay hindi kumakatawan sa pananaw ng organization.

Sa tweet na ipinaskil 7:49 a.m. (Manila time), nakasulat pa sa malalaking letra ang “not reflect our point of view.”

Sa Facebook, nag-isyu rin ng pahayag ang organisasyon dakong 7:22 a.m. (Manila time), na umani ng 928 shares at 1,466 comments kaugnay sa pageant drama.

Comment to the comment: First of all – we honestly congratulate Miss Philippines to her title Miss Universe! We as ‪#‎missgermanycorporation feel very happy about the result!

Some messages came across we were not too happy to hear about. Some people blamed us for the comment Miss Universe Germany, Sara-Lorraine Riek, has given. We just want to make clear that THIS STATEMENT does NOT REFLECT OUR POINT OF VIEW – not of the event and of course not of the beautiful winner Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

We are actually crowning Miss Germany only based and organized here in Germany. We are not sending Germany´s delegate to Miss Universe pageant. Hoping for understanding, we really feel sorry for the difficult situation sprang up yesterday night.

Miss Philippines, and from now on Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, is actually half-German whereon we are really happy about and proud of. We only can congratulate her one more time and wish all the best for her!
