Inanunsyo ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) na nawawala ang isa nitong FA-50 fighter jet habang isinasagawa nito ang tactical nights operation nitong Martes, Marso 4.
Sa isang press conference nitong Martes, sinabi ni PAF spokesperson Col. Ma. Consuelo Castillo na nawalan ng komunikasyon ang aircraft nitong Martes ng madaling araw bago nito marating ang target area.
“The aircraft lost communication with the rest of the flight involved in the mission minutes before reaching the target area,” ani Castillo.
“The other aircraft repeatedly attempted to establish contact with the missing aircraft until their return to Mactan, Cebu,” dagdag niya.

Nagsasagawa na raw ang PAF ng masusing operasyon upang mahanap ang nawawalang jet fighter aircraft.
“Our primary concern right now is the safe return of our aircrew. We are hopeful of locating them in the aircraft soon and ask you to join us in prayer during this critical time,” saad ni Castillo.
