Mababasa sa caption, "Commuting is bad, but its even worse for people like me na pawisin grrrrrrrr š."
"Relate-much kay kuya!
It's more INIT in the Philippines na talaga.
"All of us can relate to this and it is part of our daily lives."
"It was last friday, April 14, 2023. I got off work at around 8:00 pm. I walked towards the corner of Morayta ang Recto as I waited for a PUJ for about 30 minutes. Standing for a long time, I began sweating. Lahat puno, although madami ang jeepneys, but still, all were packed. So I think nakasakay na ako by 8:30pm."
"From San Sebastian College to Mendiola, the traffic was so bad. It was such a busy day for jeepneys. May hangin naman talaga sana sa jeep, but that night, wala. Kase bumper to bumper ang traffic. This even added more to the sweat. After passing Mendiola, it was Legarda's time to contribute to my sweating."
"As we near the flyover to Pureza, there was not even a breeze at all. After the flyover, may hangin, pero super kaunti lang. Unfortunately, extended ang sweating time. I think it was already past 9:00 nung bumaba ako sa may Pureza LRT station."
"There I waited for my 2nd jeep. Waiting time was shorter, but the sweating didn't stop at all. Pagsakay ko sa jeep, marami pa rin tao and siksikan sa loob, more heat, more sweat. Nakababa ako sa Teresa by around 9:30pm and I looked for dinner since I haven't had dinner yet."
"That also contributed to my sweating since iba pa ang pinagbilhan ng ulam at kanin. And when I got to my apartment, it waz already past 10:00pm. I put my backpack down and felt all the sweat behind me just dripping."
"And I decided to take a picture of myself since it was just too much sweating for a day," kuwento ni Uy sa Balita.
"The very essence of commuting is to arrive to one's destination at a given time. Unfortunately that's not what we all experience. Oftentimes, we get late. If we could have a more systematic transportation scheme, maybe we could help commuters arrive on time."
"Second is security. Commuters should not be afraid to commute and feel threatened by snatchers, or any untoward incident that's related to putting a commuter's life at risk."
"Lastly, firmer implementation of laws from LGUs that wouldn't cause more confusion to commuters. Collaborating and contributing to the bigger picture of the crisis in our transport systems. By addressing realistic problems first, than formulating idealistic solutions."
