"I have received reports that the Instagram account @ronnieliang12 is sending private messages, asking for money, and inviting people for meet-ups," ani Ronnie.

"Please be informed that it is an IMPOSTOR and FAKE account. I only have one official Instagram account, so if you ever receive private messages from this @ronnieliang12 account, please ignore, block, or report them. Thank you," babala niya sa publiko.

"IT IS SO ALARMING! There are many impostors doing romance and catfish scams using my identity. It's happening not only in the Philippines but also in Europe. One fake account pretended to be a US Army and even created a fake Military I.D. using my photo."

"Another bogus profile friended people on social media and asked for meet-ups, another asked for money, and another flirted shamelessly using my pictures and videos. They deceived women who thought we were in a relationship for financial gain. I had heard it before but shrugged it off, thinking it wasn't serious. Pero sobrang dami na pala."

"People sent me proof that they gave money to these scammers and asked me if I had received them (Sa mga nag send, paki send po ulit kasi di ko na mahanap sa dami ng messages). Haist, Grabe! I hope the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Unit can do something about this."
