Pinalawig pa ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ng 90 araw ang emergency employment program nito na Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) upang matulungan pa ang mga benepisyaryo nito.

Idinahilan niBureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC) Director Ma. Karen Trayvilla, layunin din ng pagpapalawig ng programa na mapatibaypa ang ekonomiya ng bansa.

“One of the contributions of DOLE to revitalize the economy through the DOLE integrated livelihood employment program as part of BWSC contribution to the national employment recovery strategy (NERS),” paliwanag ni Trayvilla sa isang virtual forum.

Ang pinalawak aniya na programa ay may apat na kategorya:Emergency Response Method, Labor-Intensive Method, Labor-Based Method, at Labor-Based Equipment Supported Method.
