Matapos na mapaulat na dinapuan ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), kinumpirma ng Department of Transportation (DOtr) na tuluyan nang binawian ng buhay si Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) General Manager Rodolfo Garcia.
Sa isang pahayag na inilabas kamakalawa ng gabi, nagpaabot din ng pakikiramay ang DOTr at ang MRT-3, sa naulilang pamilya ni Garcia at pinapurihan at pinasalamatan ang naging pagsusumikap nito upang mapaghusay pa ang estado ng rail line.
