Hiniling ng Minority bloc sa Kamara na dapat munang tapusin at unahin ang budget deliberations alang-alang sa pagbangon ng ekonomiya at kabutihan ng mamamayan bago ang agawan sa liderato ng Kamara.
Idinahilan ni Minority Leader Bienvenido Abante, hindi dapat “igapos” ang pagtalakay at pag-aapruba sa P4.5 trilyong national budget sa bangayan sa speakership nina Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano at Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco.
“There are some issues on the budget but we are able to solve them. We’re telling them to just approach the concerned officials like for example, the DPWH secretary, to raise their parochial concerns. But it shouldn’t be an issue for change in leadership in the House at this point in time – that we rock the boat in the middle of the ocean,” giit ng mambabatas.
Ayon sa kanya, tapos na ang hatian o term-sharing deal dahil ito ay isang gentleman’s agreement na dapat igalang, pero depende pa rin umano ito sa House majority.
