Nakakolekta ang Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro native Antonio ng eight points mula sa seven wins at two draws para maghari sa nine round tournament.
Tinangap niya ang P50,000 cash prize sa one-day National Chess Federation of the Philippines sanctioned tournament, inorganisa ni Atty. Manuelindo Josef A. Torrevillas, isinagawa kaalinsabay ng pagdaraos ng Feast of Saint Bartholomew 2019, suportado ng Torrevillas Knights sa pakikipagtulungan ng Catbalogan City Chess Club at ng Hermano Mayor of the Feast of Saint Bartholomew 2019.
Tabla din si International Master Ronald Dableo koantra kay Allan Cantonjos tungo sa five-way tie for second kasama sina FM Villanueva, Cantonjos, John Christian Lesaca at International Master Oliver Dimakiling.
Nanaig si Lesaca kay Jayson Salubre habang panalo si Dimakiling sa kapwa International Master na si Joel Pimentel. Nakamit naman ni Jerish Jonh Velarde ang junior plum.
Nagwagi si Karylcris Clarito Jr. sa kiddies 12 years old and below na may 6.5 points sumunod si solo second place Cyrus James Damiray na may 6.0 points at third placer Kenneth Cris Alican na may 5.5 points.
Nangu naman si Mar Aviel Carredo sa grupo ng five pointers na kinabibilangan nina Linard Chrineo, Ronnie Ysmael Calavdores, Frances Galathea Gerente, Matt Dinielle at Vincent Dasal.
Sina National Arbiters Alfredo Chay at Alexander Dinoy ng Chess Arbiter Union of the Philippines ang nangasiwa sa nasabing chessfest.
