NILINAW ni Bela Padilla na matagal na niyang in-unfollow sa Instagram si Julia Barretto, kaya walang katotohanan ang intriga na ginawa niya ito pagkatapos ng dinner with Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban at Angel Locsin.

Ipinost sa social media ang photo nila, at nilagyan ng hashtag na para ito kay Bea.

Simula nang magkaroon ng social media war sina Bea at Julia dahil sa diumano’y “ghosting” at “panliligaw” ni Gerald sa huli, nagkakaroon na ng kampi-kampihan ang female stars, pero ipinaliwanag ni Bela na hindi ganito ang sitwasyon niya.

“I was doing an Instagram detox. From following 4,000 people, I’m down to 2,000 plus. I’m trying to stay away from social media as much as I can… My plan was to go down to zero. I never got around to doing it because I got busy,” sabi ni Bela nang interbyuhin sa Tonight With Boy Abunda earlier this week.

“I just want to clarify that I didn’t unfollow Julia because I’m taking sides. I honestly don’t even know the story of what’s happening. I want to speak for everyone at that table. Nobody said anything. It wasn’t an attack towards someone. It was literally dinner. So sana let’s not think badly of people.”

Unaware si Bela na mapapasali siya sa kampi-kampihan ng magkabilang kampo.

“I didn’t know that it was going to be posted with the hashtag #ParaKayB, but at the same time, it doesn’t matter if that dinner was for Bea or anything else. It doesn’t matter because they’re all people I work with at ABS-CBN. I just feel like it’s not supposed to be a big deal.

“I don’t hide the fact that I’m very close to Angelica,” paliwanag pa ni Bela. “I was comfortable in this situation. What I’m not comfortable with is the insinuation that I unfollowed Julia because of this dinner. I did not. I actually texted Tita Marjorie (Barretto), my best friend Dani (Barretto), and Julia the day after because it became such a big deal. I got so many messages from Julia’s fans, which are super hateful.”

Inamin ni Bela kay Boy Abunda na masasakit ang mga salitang nababasa niya.

“Kalma, kids. Social media is not everything. One picture of a dinner doesn’t define our future. Sometimes we really need to chill, and go to school. I feel like masyado kayong maraming oras sa Instagram at libreng Facebook, guys.”

Klaro ring ikinuwento ni Bela na maayos pa ring ang friendship nila ni Dani.

“I don’t even feel like I need to explain anymore because I explained to the right people. But at the same time, I don’t see anything wrong with having dinner with Bea, Angel, and Angelica,” wika niya.

Nagkuwento rin si Bela na may ilang script siyang sinulat para kay Bea na gusto niyang makatrabaho. Kaya wala rin silang conflict kahit engaged na ito sa ex-boyfriend niyang si Neil Arce.“Angel and I, we go way back. I was probably one of the first people who texted Angel to congratulate her (nang mapabalitang nag-propose na si Neil).”
