Elasto Painters, asam makaulit sa Beermen
MAKAHIRIT ng do-or-die ang asam ng Rain or Shine Elasto Painters sa muling pakikipagtuos sa San Miguel Beermen sa Game 4 ng kanilang best-of-five semifinals series ngayon sa 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup sa Araneta Coliseum.
Napigil ng Elasto Painters ang tangkang sweep ng Beermen ng pabagsakin ang karibal, 112-104, sa Game 3 nitong Miyerkoles.
At dahil sa naturang panalo, naibsan ng bahagya ang nadaramg pressure ng ROS. Kinakailangan na lamang nilang gawin ulit ang ipinakita nilang laro noong Game 3 upang patuloy na buhayin ang tsansa nilang umusad sa championships.
“They say the hardest game to win is the close-out. So for us, right now, we’re just gonna play loose, continue to trust each other, and see what happens,” ani Rain or Shine veteran forward Gabe Norwood.
“It’s a great win,” aniya. “You know, guys stepped up. Beau [Belga] made a big shot. Rey [Nambatac] played well. C-Mo (Carl Montgomery) played consistently all the way through. We got to do that again.”
Kumpiyansa naman ang Beermen na matapos na ang serye.
“Everybody needs to be locked in. Once you step in the arena, lock in and just get ready,” ani Beermen import Chris McCullough. Kumana ng gamr-high 51 puntos sa Game 3.
