Mariing itinanggi ng pamunuan ng Caloocan Police ang pahayag ni Bishop Virgilio David na may “death squad” sa lungsod kaugnay ng sunud-sunod na patayan, kamakailan.

Sa pamamagitan ng text message, ipinabatid ng Assistant Chief of Police for Administration (ACOPA) na hindi kagagawan ng “death squad” ang mga pagpatay dahil ito ay may personal na dahilan.

Una nang sinabi ni Caloocan City Diocese Bishop David na may dead squad sa Caloocan City at tila walang kakayahan ang lokal na pulisya na masawata ito.

“We use to call them ‘Bonnet Gangs’, now we just call them what they really are: ‘Death Squads’,” ayon kay Bishop David.

“You know the killers were not even rushing, they took their sweet time. The Police seem to be aleted in their presence because they are not supposed to meddle. If the police wanted to pursue them they could have because they stayed for four hours,” giit ni Bishop David.
