SYDNEY (Reuters) – Magpapatupad ang Australia ng random searches sa mga manggagawa na pumapasok at nasa loob ng mga paliparan nito bilang bahagi ng mas pinatinding seguridad matapos masupil ang terrorism plot ng mga Islamist kamakailan.
“These measures strengthen existing controls to ensure airport workers are authorized, properly identified and appropriately trained before entering secure airside areas,” ipinahayag ni Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Darren Chester.
Hinigpitan ang airport security nitong Hulyo matapos mapigilan ng pulisya ang planong pagpasabog sa isang Emirates flight mula Sydney.
“Some of the measures will be obvious to the public, some will not be,” sinabi ni Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull ng mga panahong iyon.
