Hindi na sasali ang Pilipinas sa Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) — kung wala ang United States — dahil hindi na ito magiging “too hot.”
Ito ang ipinahayag ni Finance Secretary Carlos “Sonny” Dominguez sa Banyan Tree Leaders’ Forum na itinaguyod ng Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) sa Washington D.C. nitong weekend.
“No, we are not joining the TPP. Without the US there I don’t think it’s going to be too hot so we decided we are not going to join. Without the US, it doesn’t make sense.
