Sinabi kahapon ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año na nag-alok si Pangulong Duterte ng P10 milyon pabuya para sa ikadarakip ng sinasabing “Emir” ng Islamic State sa Pilipinas, ang leader ng Abu Sayyaf na si Isnilon Hapilon, at tig-P5 milyon naman sa magkapatid na Maute, sinabi Abdullah at Omar.
“The President is offering P10 million-reward money for the neutralization of Isnilon Hapilon who is believed to be leading the terrorist Maute-ISIS group in attacking Marawi City,” sabi ni Año.
“The Armed Forces of the Philippines welcomes the pronouncement of President Duterte. We hope that this will bear significant accomplishments leading to the eventual arrest and neutralization of Isnilon Hapilon and the Maute Brothers,” dagdag pa ni Año. (Francis T. Wakefield)
