Nagwakas na ang pagiging No. 1 pound-for-pound boxer ni Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez matapos lumikha ng malaking upset sa boksing si mandatory challenger Srisaket Sor Rungvisai ng Thailand dahilan upang maagaw ang WBC super flyweight crown sa Madison Square Garden sa New York City, New York sa Estados Unidos.
“Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of Thailand scored a stunning majority decision upset over previously unbeaten WBC super flyweight champion Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez on Saturday night,” base sa ulat ng Fightnews.com.
“Srisaket dropped Gonzalez in round one with a body shot. More problems for Chocolatito in round three when he was cut over the right eye by an unintentional headbutt,” dagdag sa ulat.
“Srisaket was deducted a point after another headbutt in round six. Very hard back-and-forth battle with Gonzalez, bleeding heavily, fighting hard the whole way. Scores were 114-112, 114-112, 113-113.”
