BINALEWALA ni Robert De Niro ang pagbatikos sa kanya ni Jon Voight kaugnay sa video na nagsabi siyang nais niyang suntukin sa mukha ang Republican presidential candidate na si Donald Trump.
Sa video na inilabas noong Sabado, tinawag ni De Niro si Trump na “blatantly stupid… he’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, a bullshit artist. A mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
“He talks how he wants to punch people in the face. Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”

Binira ni Jon Voight si De Niro sa sunud-sunod na tweets, sinabing ikinahihiya niya ang mga patutsada ng kapwa aktor.
Ipinagtanggol din ni Voight si Trump kaugnay sa lumabas na tape noong nakaraang linggo na ipinagmalaki nito ang panghihipo sa mga babae.
“I don’t know of too many men who haven’t expressed some sort of similar sexual terms toward women, especially in their younger years,” sabi ni Voight, at nanawagan sa mga tagasuporta ni Trump na ipahayag ang kanilang “outrage and anger” kay De Niro at sa lahat ng “Republican turncoats”. Si Voight ay matagal nang masugid na tagasuporta ng Republican party.
Sinagot ni De Niro sa mga komento ni Voight, sinabing: “Voight is a nice guy, but he’s delusional,” ulat ng UAE newspaper na Khaleej Times, bago muling binira si Trump.
“The Republican party has rationalised that his guy is sane, that this guy should be president,” aniya. “It’s awful, they will self-destruct.”
Hinimok ni De Niro ang mga Amerikano na bumoto sa Nobyembre 8 upang hindi manalo si Trump.
“They have to vote, they must vote, it’s imperative that you vote, it’s a very serious situation,” aniya.
