Kapwa nakuha nina IBF light flyweight champion John Riel Casimero ng Pilipinas at Charlie Edwards ng Great Britain ang tamang timbang para sa kanilang duwelo ngayon sa O2 Arena sa London, United Kingdom.

Kapwa tumimbang sa 111 pounds sina Casimero at Edwards na parehong nangako na patutulugin ang isa’t isa lalo’t ipalalabas sa pay-per-view ang sagupaan na isa sa undercard sa unified middleweight championship sa pagitan nina Gennaday ‘GGG’ Golovkin ng Kazakhstan at Kell Brook of United Kingdom.

Ipinagmalaki ni Edwards na mas mabilis siya kay Casimero kaya tiyak na matatamo niya ang IBF flyweight title samantalang iginiit ng Pinoy boxer na ipalalasap niya sa Briton ang bagong uri ng knockout punch na binansagan niyang ‘Pokemon Pikachu’.

“When he wakes up, it will be the next morning,” sabi ni Casimero sa Philboxing.com. “I can’t say when the fight will end but I want to go home early. “Edwards has no power. I’m not afraid to get hit. He’s the challenger so he has to be the aggressor which is how I like it. I’m ready for whatever style he’ll use. If he runs, I’ll chase him down. If he comes in, I’ll be waiting. If it’s a brawl he wants, I’ll give it to him,” aniya.
