TINOTOO ni Sunshine Dizon ang post niyang, “I’ll see you in court” na ang mister niyang si Timothy Tan ang tinutukoy sa pagsasampa niya ng kasong Violence Against Women and Children sa Quezon City.

Sa interview ng 24 Oras, sinabi ni Sunshine na desidido siyang tapusin ang kaso nila ng asawa at sa ka-live in nito.

“Hindi po madali ang pinagdadaanan ko at ng mga anak ko ngayon,” pahayag ni Sunshine. “ I’m trying my best to keep everything private but my situation as an actress makes it difficult to keep everything away from the public. Please bear with me in this difficult situation as I am preparing for battle. Hindi ko po ipagkakait sa inyo ang mga mangyayari sa buhay ko at sa pinaglalaban ko legally as your overwhelming support inspires me to fight not only for myself, for my children but also for those out there who are in the same situation like me.

“As a wife and mother who uncovered lies hindi po tama siguro na ako ay manahimik lamang and I assure everyone that I will finish this legal battle until the end. Makakaasa po kayo na magsasalita po ako ng katotohanan lamang sa tamang panahon. And again I would like to thank everyone sa lahat ng suporta at pagmamahal na pinaparamdam ninyo sa akin kasama ng mga anak ko.
