Nagkaloob ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 4A CALABARZON ng 500 upuan para sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa San Juan, Batangas.
Nilagdaan nina DENR Calabarzon Regional Director Reynulfo A. Juan at San Juan Batangas Mayor Rodolfo Manalo ang Deed of Donation ng mga silya sa isang simpleng seremonya.
Ang mga upuan ay ginawa mula sa 15,000 board feet ng mga nakumpiskang troso ng Provincial and Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices sa Laguna.
“The donation is in line with DENR Secretary Ramon JP Paje’s directive to utilize ‘available confiscated timber without claimants and court cases’ to be manufactured into school desks for distribution to recipient schools as identified by the Department of Education in the municipality,” wika ni Juan.
