Iniutos ng Sandiganbayan Sixth Division ang paglabas ng warrant of arrest laban kay dating Police Director General Alan Purisima matapos makitaan ng sapat na batayan para kasuhan siya ng graft kaugnay sa diumano’y maanomalyang courier service para sa gun license applications.
“After judicious scrutiny and evaluation of the information and resolution of the prosecutor, the evidence in support thereof and the records of the preliminary investigation attached thereto, the Court finds that sufficient grounds exist for the finding of probable cause and for the issuance of a warrant of arrest against all the accused charged in the instant cases,” nakasaad sa resolusyon ng korte.
Ang resolusyon na may petsang Mayo 18 ay nilagdaan nina Sixth Division Chairperson Rodolfo Ponferrada at Associate Justices Oscar Herrera Jr., at Michael Frederick Musngi.
Sa pagkakita ng probable cause, iniutos ng tribunal ang paglabas ng warrant of arrest laban kay Purisima at sa kanyang mga kapwa akusado na sina dating Philippine National Police (PNP) officials Gil Meneses, Napoleon Estilles, Allan Parreno, at Melchor Reyes.

Iniutos ding arestuhin ang kanyang mga kapwa akusado na mga opisyal ng Werfast Documentation Agency Inc., na sina Ford Tuason, Mario Juan, Salud Bautista, Enrique Valerio, Lorna Perena, at Juliana Pasia.
Sa kabilang banda, hindi na ipinaaresto ng korte ang iba pang kapwa akusado na naglagak na ng P30,000 piyansa bawat isa.
Sila ay sina PNP official Raul Petrasanta, Eduardo Acierto, Lenbell Fabia, Sonia Calixto, Nelson Bautista, at Ricardo Zapata, Jr. (MADEL SABATER-NAMIT)
