DOHA (AFP) – Sinabi ng isang nangungunang Islamic scholar na naiinis ang mga Muslim sa pagsusuporta ng mga Amerikano kay US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Giit ni Ali Qara Daghi, Secretary-General ng Qatar-based International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), nitong Miyerkules ng gabi na ginagamit ni Trump ang ‘’attacks on Islam’’ upang makapuwesto sa White House.
‘’This is really annoying us so much that he has these levels of support. We do not want this for the American people or America, which was founded on democracy, freedom and pluralism,” aniya.
“His remarks are not consistent with common sense or moral values because he is not honest and exploits attacks on Islam in order to gain access to power,’’ dagdag ni Qara Daghi.
