Pacquiao Bradley BoxingPinuri ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang tagumpay ng Pinoy world boxing champion na si Manny Pacquiao laban sa Amerikanong si Timothy Bradley, Jr. kahapon, sinabing ito ay “most welcome news, a consolation and a source of comfort for many of our battle-hardened warriors.”

Tinalo ni Pacquiao si Bradley sa unanimous decision sa Las Vegas kahapon, isang araw makaraang 18 tauhan ng Philippine Army ang nasawi, bukod sa 56 na nasugatan, sa engkuwentro sa Abu Sayyaf sa Basilan nitong Sabado, Araw ng Kagitingan.

Nagtungo kahapon sa Zamboanga City sina Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin at AFP chief Gen. Hernando Iriberri, kasama si Army chief Lt. Gen. Eduardo Año at iba pang matataas na opisyal ng militar, upang bisitahin at kumustahin ang mga sundalong nasugatan sa labanan, kasabay ng pakikiramay sa pamilyang naulila ng mga nasawing sundalo.
