Umaasa ang Pilipinas na makakapagpadala ng mas maraming manggagawa sa manufacturing sector sa South Korea sa ilalim ng Employment Permit System (EPS) na itinaas ang quota mula 4,600 noong 2015 sa 6,800 ngayong taon.

Ito ang inihayag ni Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz matapos matanggap ang liham ni Choi Junha, director ng Foreign Workforce Division ng Ministry of Employment and Labor sa South Korea.

“The continuing climb of the country’s quota reflects our consistently good EPS performance for the past four years, leading to creation of more employment opportunities for Filipinos in South Korea’s manufacturing sector,” wika ni Baldoz. (Mina Navarro)
