Inakusahan ng prosekusyon ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng pagbibigay ng special treatment kay Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. matapos umanong makalabas ito ng piitan sa Camp Crame, Quezon City nang walang kaukulang permiso ng Sandiganbayan.

“If this information recently received by the prosecution is accurate, it confirms and validates prior reports that accused Revilla is being accorded special privileges while in detention at the PNP Custodial Barracks,” pahayag ng state prosecutors sa kanilang komentong inihain hinggil sa kahilingan ni Revilla na makalabas ng PNP Custodial Center upang sumailalim sa medical examination.

Dahil dito, iginiit ng prosekusyon na dapat aprubahan ng Sandiganbayan First Division ang kanilang kahilingan na mailipat si Revilla sa detention facility ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) mula sa PNP Custodial Center.

“The prosecution’s Motion for Reconsideration dated September 19, 2014 be resolved in its favor and that the accused Revilla be transferred to a detention facility operated by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP),”  iginiit ng mga abogado ng gobyerno.

“The prosecution has been firm and categorical in its position that accused should be placed in a BJMP detention facility and not the PNP Custodial Center where he is currently detained,” dagdag nila.

Ayon pa sa prosekusyon, nakatanggap sila ng impormasyon na nakalabas ng piitan si Revilla noong Pebrero 14 upang makibahagi sa selebrasyon ng kaarawan ni Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile sa PNP General Hospital na halos 200 metro ang layo sa PNP Custodial Center.

Anila, mayroon silang hawak na dalawang larawan ni Revilla habang nakikipaghalubilo kay Enrile sa isang silid sa PNP General Hospital.
