Inirekomenda ng Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs na ipasa sa Office of the Ombudsman ang kaso ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director Alan Purisima.

Nanawagan din si Senator Grace Poe, committee chairperson, sa Ombudsman na madaliin ang pagdinig sa kaso nito.

“It is the position of the committee that the PNP chief must act to the best interest of the people and all the PNP units and personnel,” bahagi ng rekomendasyon ng komite.

Aniya, dapat na maging huwaran si Purisima sa buong PNP kaya kailangang linisin nito ang sariling pagkatao.

Kinasuhan ng plunder si Purisma dahil sa mansiyon nito sa Nueva Ecija at sa pagpapagawa ng quarters sa Camp Crame na mas kilala bilang ‘White House’.

Bukod dito, una nang sinabi ni Purisima na nabili niya nang may 50 porsiyentong diskuwento ang kanyang 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser at donasyon naman ang P11.46 milyon sa ipinagawang White House.

Sinabi ni Poe na hindi kapani-paniwala ang 50 porsiyentong diskuwento sa nabiling sasakyan habang ang deed of donation naman ay nangyari dalawang buwan makaraang matapos ang gusali.

“The Ombudsman should look into the apparent disparity in the means of the PNP chief and the properties listed in his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth with particular note on the amount of total monthly amortizations for his luxury vehicles which appear to be substantial even if the combined net monthly salaries of the Purisima spouses are reckoned with,” ayon kay Poe.
